We’re thrilled to welcome the following new faces to our growing team.


Ashton Steed joins our Birmingham team as our newest Business Development Manager. He will be responsible for growing our portfolio throughout Central Alabama and fostering relationships with customers and property management teams alike. Ashton, a Birmingham native, joins us from Ehrlich, where he most recently served as an Account Executive and received many accolades for exceeding his sales targets while achieving maximum customer retention.



Justin Lindstrom is our newest Account Manager in Central Alabama. With over 16 years of experience in the landscape management industry, Justin will be responsible for managing our maintenance crews and customer relationships for a portfolio of commercial landscape accounts in the Central Alabama area. Justin graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Horticulture and an emphasis in Landscape Management. He recently relocated to the Birmingham area from Idaho, where he previously served as the Irrigation and Landscape Manager for LawnTech.


Matthew Capps joins Landscape Workshop as General Manager of our Montgomery branch. Matthew previously served as Deputy Director of Parks, Senior Director of Parks & Recreation, and Director of Parks Planning & Development for the City of Mobile. In those roles, Matthew managed over 150 employees and an operating budget of over $13 million. Matthew holds a Master’s Degree (summa cum laude) in Landscape Architecture and a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture from Auburn University, where he was a Graduate Research Assistant focusing on community planning and landscape architecture.  Matthew is a graduate of Leadership Mobile and was a member of the 2013 Mobile Bay 40 Under Forty. In his new role, Matthew will be responsible for overseeing all operations of the Montgomery branch, including sales, financial performance, safety regulations, and customer relations.
