Landscape Workshop Attends Halloween Parade at Children’s Hospital

Landscape Workshop had a colorful morning today… as M&M’s! Each year, Children’s of Alabama’s Child Life Department hosts a Halloween Parade for hospitalized children and their families.

Unlike your typical trick-or-treating routine, this candy-free event allows children to dress up and to go around visiting tables (hosted by supporters such and our LW crew) to pick up small trinkets, including stickers, puzzles, pencils, and more. In addition to trick-or-treating, the patients also enjoyed the day painting pumpkins and playing games! Needless to say, the room was full of smiles, buckets of goodies, and people of all ages dressed in costume.

We had a great time getting to hand out treats to the participants of the parade and brighten up smiles of children and their families. Thank you to Children’s for hosting and  letting us participate in such a great, uplifting event!
