LW Participates in Children’s of Alabama Annual Parade

Landscape Workshop spent a rewarding morning at the Children’s of Alabama Annual Trick-or-Treat Parade, which gives patients the ability to experience Halloween festivities while staying at the hospital during the holiday.

The group of volunteers from LW, along with many other companies in the community, decorated a table with assorted treats including crafts, stickers and small games for the children. Patients and their siblings were then invited to dress in costume and trick-or-treat at the numerous table displays set-up inside the hospital. LW hopes to be able to take part in this special tradition for years to come.

Children’s of Alabama is the only medical center in Alabama dedicated solely to the care and treatment of children having provided specialized medical care for ill and injured children across the state and throughout the southeastern U.S. for over 100 years. Children’s has been ranked among the best children’s hospital programs in the nation for the past four years.
