LW Expands Our Knoxville, TN Footprint
2021 is off to a great start for us here at Landscape Workshop as we have recently completed the acquisition of Volunteer Lawn Corporation based in Knoxville, TN! Founder and President of Volunteer Lawn, Wendell Jones, started Volunteer in 1978, growing it into the leading landscape company in East Tennessee. “The employees and customers of Volunteer Lawn have always been important to me,” said Wendell Jones, “and when it was time for Vicki and I to retire, we picked the buyer who we thought would carry on our legacy of customer service and being a good place for our employees to work.”
LW’s CEO J.T. Price is very excited to welcome this addition to the LW family and stated, “We are incredibly excited to combine our existing Knoxville operations with the operations of Volunteer Lawn. Wendell Jones built the leading landscape company in East Tennessee, and our combined operations have more resources available to serve East Tennessee customers than any competitor. We are fully committed to upholding the level of customer service that Volunteer has established.”
With this acquisition, we have added a few new faces to the Landscape Workshop family from Volunteer, and are thrilled to have them on board.
