Internships to Full-Time at Landscape Workshop

Whether you’re finishing higher education or a recent graduate in search of opportunity and leadership, Landscape Workshop’s Internship Program and Associate Account Manager Program (AAM) offer paths forward.

Landscape Workshop Internship Program:

Our paid summer internship program is designed to give you a true understanding of what it means to work as a professional in the commercial landscaping industry, not from a classroom but in the field.

Over the course of 8 weeks, you will be placed at one of our branch locations, working alongside experienced teams and learning how operations run day to day. This is a hands-on experience where you will contribute to real projects, not just observe.

What You’ll Learn in an Internship:

An internship with Landscape Workshop is more than learning the tricks of the trade. We strive to give every student the tools they need to understand the industry inside-and-out, setting them up for success in their next chapter. Other than learning communication, teamwork, and leaderships, intern can expect:

  • Landscape Maintenance: Property care, quality control, and service standards
  • Enhancements: Assisting with landscape upgrades and installation projects
  • Irrigation Systems: Fundamentals of water management and system efficiency

Associate Account Manager Program (AAM):

Our Associate Account Manager (AAM) Program is a full-time, post-education opportunity designed for individuals ready to step into a leadership track within the commercial landscaping industry. For the graduate for whom a career requires in-the-field experience, the AAM Program provides it.

This program is built to develop future Account Managers through structured training, real responsibility, and direct mentorship. The AAM Program is a natural next step from our Internship Program.

What to Expect from the AAM Program:

As an Associate Account Manager, you will train as a manager from day one, gaining hands-on experience. This includes:

  • Crew Leadership: Leading, coaching, and developing field teams
  • Client Management: Building relationships and ensuring customer expectations are met
  • Operations: Scheduling work, managing job execution, and maintaining quality standards
  • Budgeting and Planning: Assisting with job costing, labor tracking, and resource allocation
  • Communication: Acting as the link between field teams, clients, and leadership

Mentorship and Development

You will be paired with an experienced Account Manager who will guide your development and provide ongoing feedback. This mentorship ensures you are not just learning the role, but understanding how to succeed in it long term.

Built for Advancement

The AAM program is designed with one clear goal: prepare you for promotion into an Account Manager role.

With strong performance and commitment, advancement opportunities can happen in as little as 6 months. From there, your career path can continue into senior leadership roles within the company.

Landscape Workshop’s Internship Program and Associate Account Manager Program are designed to work together as a clear career pipeline, moving from hands-on exposure to leadership development. You gain real experience in the field, learn how the business operates at every level, and then build on that foundation with responsibility, mentorship, and a defined path into management. If you are looking for more than a job and want a structured opportunity to grow into a leadership role, that path starts here.
