The Heart Behind the Hands: Serve Day 2018

A group of fifteen of our Central Alabama team members volunteered their time and landscaping skills last weekend to serve those in need throughout the Birmingham metro-area. They partnered with Church of the Highlands on their annual Serve Day to provide landscape maintenance to a variety of non-profit organizations, such as Grace House and Shepherds Fold, as well as a handful of local residents in need of assistance.

We think Birmingham Account Manager, Coltin Vaughn, said it best about his experience volunteering, “We have all needed a little assistance in life at some point, whether we care to admit it or not. No matter how hard we think our life may be, there is always someone out there going through a more difficult time than us. I think giving back to our community by lending a helping hand is so important and should be a top priority to help grow a strong and healthy community.”
